Weight Bags
Which bag is right for you?
This would be determined by the type of work you do and what it is you are wanting to achieve.
We mostly make 8, 10 and 12 Kilo bags, the size of the bags are determined by this weight and what is intended as fill.
Generally……
Large bags are for Large stands, Small bags are for Small Stands
Marker bags: are small flat envelope shapes to put on the ground as marks. Additional design features that can be added are grommets or webbing loops for securing in place
Shot Bags: are a Single Flat rectangular chamber with a handle over the top. Once the weight is inserted it is necessary to be sewn up. We offer “skins” for cheaper shipping however the customer then needs to fill and sew shut. A heavy-duty canvasing machine is needed for this
Butterfly Bags: are 2 rectangular chambers joined by a handle running OVER them. They are available as empty and refillable for cheaper shipping
Saddle Bags: are 2 rectangular chambers joined by a handle running BETWEEN them, they can be made with a gusseted base giving more inside volume, this allows you to fill with less weighty mediums such as sand. Once again they are available as empty and refillable for cheaper shipping
Cuboid bags: are often known as “Sandbags” are cuboid in shape with a handle on one edge. This creates a large volume inside, ideal for sand. They are mostly used to lift equipment up and stabilize things. the weight will not saddle over a stand! therefore they cannot be used to stabilise stands. We offer “skins” for cheaper shipping however the customer then needs to fill and sew shut. A heavy-duty canvasing machine is needed for this
- Additional design requests on most models can include a webbing hanging loop at one end of the bag’s handle
